Description

The aim of this application was to present a simple and fun music composer for kids. The songs are built using musical blocks or loops on four different tracks.
The songs can be saved and sent to friends.

Performance
  • Programming (AS2)
Noteworthy
  • The main task of the application was to be able to play external mp3-files synchronised. Flash is known for having problems with this but I eventually found a way to get stable playback. It resulted in a unique sound engine capable of playing external (or internal) sounds synchronised and with the possibility to add and remove sounds while it’s playing.
The sound engine is based on musical components such as BPM, bars, timesign etc.
